 How To Take Care Of Skin in Winter

            I personally love winter. the chilly season makes me feel fresh and alive,but winter is not fun for skin. During winter, we have to take care of skin regularly,cold weather and low humidity levels result in dry air,we suffer from dry skin,which gives rise to chapped and unhealthy skin,which then steals moisture away from skin every moment.without care,dry skin can lead to cracking and bleeding,and harsh wind makes the problem worse. Indoor heat further robs the air of moisture,as do hot showers and harsh cleansers.
so i am here with some easy solutions which helps you to overcome winter dryness.some steps are here if you regularly go through it will surely helpful to you.


1.The first step of care is Cleansing 
         
                               
   cleansing is must-follow first step in skincare routine.you can use any mild cleanser.you can limit the number of times and alternatively cleanse your face with cold milk and cotton ball to prevent excessive dryness. there are many mild cleansers available in market .you can choose according to your skin type i will tell you how to know your skin type in up coming articles.
      
You can use home remedies as cleanser which is good and  produce no side effects.
i)Row milk
ii)Apple cider vinegar
iii) honey and Lemon
take small amount of any cleanser and massage in circular motion.it will help you to remove dirt on your skin.

2.Reduce the use of skin scrubber

Exfoliating your skin with scrub is a next step of skin care but you can reduce its count in winter daily scrubbing in winter might cause abrasion and turn your skin drier. It helps to use soft/mild scrub and do it in after every 3-4 days.You can also do it using natural ingredients available at home.
For Ex-
i)Olive oil and sea salt.
ii)Granulated sugar and coconut oil.
iii)Yogurt and Granulated sugar.
It will exfoliate your skin and remove died skin cells and gives you fresh look.  

3.Toning for skin tightening 

Toning is important step after scrubbing,always use natural toners for your skin because others are chemically loaded,because it can be disturb your skin's PH levels.toning is necessary to to remove post cleansing residual dirt from skin.it will tightens your skin and also prepares it for the moisturiser.
most recommended natural toner is rose water,you can also use lemon juice as toner.

4. Moisturise For smooth skin

Moisturising is essential every skin type,it must be include in day to day routine too. In order to make your moisturiser more effective in locking in the hydration, always use it right after having  your bath.
if you feel cosmetics are very expensive ,then home remedies can help you to moisturise your skin during winter like Almond oil,you can mix it in your normal cream.Gently massage into your skin till it absorbs and leave it on.

5.Essential face packs for winter

Usually face packs make skin dry but here is some face packs which makes facial skin soft and supple in the harsh cold season.
i) Avocado face pack- use ripped avocado on skin as pack it has strong moisturising property.
ii) Banana face pack-use mashed banana as face pack.
iii) aloevera gel.


6.stay hydrated

Drink plenty of water since its essential to keep body and skin hydrated in winter,also eat water rich vegetables and fruits to maintain water level in the body,which is good to remains skin glowing.
and remove toxins from body.
